Bartram Springs is a 1,100-acre property laccated in southern Duval County, east of I-95 west of U.S. 1 and north of Racetrack Road. The property is part of the Bartram Park DRI, which encompasses 2,700 acres. SouthStar Development Partners is developing this single-family residential community of 1,349 homes, and extensive recreation center, a community park and environmentally sensitive preservation of on-site wetlands. Lots are offered with 50', 60', 70', and 80' frontages many with long vistas over preserved areas. Many of the lots not on the preserve boundries are directly on lakes. A model village located at a highly visible site within the community is completed. Atlantic Builders, Morrison Homes and Ryland Homes have furnished models at Bartram Springs and are currently engaged in sales. Bartram Springs has been designed to encompas the feel and ambiance of an "Old Florida" community. Architectural and landsccape details have been carefully selected to provide residents with a lifestyle mood that enhances the feelling that they are living in a very special community. The community amenity center, situated in the island created by the boulevard's split is visable to all who enter Bartram Springs. The dramatic clubhouse features space for recreational and social activities. The clubhouse continues the "Old Florida" theme with its metal roof, covered breezways and gazebos. The center features a series of inter-connected swimming pools and a separate kiddie pool and whirlpool. A party lawn provides plenty of room for out door activities. |
