Harbour Isles is a new 337-acre community located in Apollo Beach in
southern Hillsborough County, about 20 miles south of downtown Tampa,
Florida. The property is located adjacent to US-41, which will be the
primary access point. The inter-change of I-75 at Big Bend Road is approximately
five miles from the project. Tampa Bay is less than one mile to the
west of the property.
MiraBay, Terrabrook's upscale, waterfront community is across US-41
and will share an intersection with the project.
Harbour Isles is a single-family residential community of 500 homes
surrounded by lakes, wetland preserves and a private active community
park. A community recreation center is included, as is a distinctive
entry feature.
Finished lots are offered with 70', 80' and 90' frontages and 125'
depths.
Most of the lots are directly on one of the numerous lakes in Harbour
Isles. Other neighborhoods wind through natural wetland preserves,
while others are adjacent to the community park.
Situated near the community's entrance, the 10-acre park is the focal
point of Harbour Isles. The recreation facilities include a recreation center complete with a free-form pool, wading pool, Jacuzzi and a fitness center. A pavilion provides shelter for court sports and other organized
activities. The balance of the park is designed as an eco park, with a large lake with natural banks and native vegetation, fishing and sunning docks and a promenade board walk.
Architecturally, the community center compliments the Old Florida
style of the entry including standing sea metal roofs, large porches
with latticed railing and a free-style pool design.
