MetroWest is a 1,900 acre master planned, mixed-use development located in Southwest Orlando. The development has 560 acres of residentially zoned property. MetroWest also has 650 acres zoned for 1,142,000 square feet of retail space, 1,900 hotel rooms, and 2,755,000 square feet of office space.
MetroWest also has a Championship 18-hole golf course that winds its way through the community anchored by a full service-clubhouse. To date, ten parcels of multi-family residential land have been sold totaling 3,237 units. In addition, there are three office building presently located on site totaling 155,000 square feet. MetroWest Village is a 120,000 square foot retail center anchored by a 48,000 square foot Publix grocery store. Recently, a Wal-Mart Super Center opened at the main entrance. The community is served by 8.5 miles of internal roadways. The major boulevards are divided by lushly-landscaped medians. The community also has an Elementary School that serves all of the neighborhoods and has 750 students in attendance.
